Confusing. Stressful. Complicated. These are the most common descriptors the students and parents I work with use when we first start the "paying for college" conversation.

And that’s totally understandable, since “How to FAFSA” and “Scholarships 101” aren’t classes offered at most high schools.

Thankfully, those are precisely the things you will learn about during our time together.

My name is Amanda Miller, and--in collaboration with College Essay Guy--I’ve written a free online guide to do on a mass scale what I’ve been doing in person for years: connecting students to the opportunities they didn’t know they were missing.

While understanding everything that goes into college affordability is quite a feat, the basics of successfully paying for college can be boiled down to four steps.

Whether for your own children or for the students you work with, I invite you to join us for a 50 minute chat about key components of each of the steps--including critical changes to FAFSA that will significantly impact specific types of families.

For those interested in having a more in depth conversation about college affordability, we will follow up this session with a 50-minute informal discussion during which I will endeavor to answer any and all questions the group has about scholarships, aid applications, college aid policies, and loans.
